The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has fully joined the ongoing strike by the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU), which commenced on October 28 due to unpaid salaries.

The strike has brought campus activities to a standstill, with essential services like the school clinic closed and students advised to vacate the premises.

Nurudeen Yusuf, SSANU Chairman at UniAbuja, confirmed full compliance with the industrial action, emphasizing that union members would not resume duties until their withheld salaries are disbursed.
