Abdulsamad Adeiza Isah, President of the National Association of Engineering Students (NAES) at the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA), has issued a statement to debunk recent allegations that some of their representatives are stranded in Okene, Kogi State.

In a public clarification, Isah emphasized that no member of the University of Abuja NAES Chapter who attended the NAUF Students Creative Entrepreneurship Program is stranded. He confirmed that all representatives safely returned to Abuja after the event.

“The University of Abuja NAES Chapter was a proud beneficiary of the empowering scheme. On September 7, 2024, our representatives received two multi-business carts and a token as part of the program,” Isah said in the statement.

He further expressed deep gratitude on behalf of the entire chapter, thanking the Senator for initiating and supporting the student empowerment scheme. “We are truly appreciative of the items received and the opportunities provided. Everything acquired through the scheme is now safely in Abuja,” Isah added.
