UNICROSS Department of Estate Management Gets a New HOD

The Department of Estate Management in the University of Cross River State on Friday, July 12, 2024 witnessed a significant event—the handing over and taking over of the Head of Department (HOD) responsibilities.

The outgoing HOD ESV Dr. J.B Effiong expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the academic staff, administrative staff, and students for their unwavering support and dedication throughout his tenure as the Head of Department. He appreciated the collective efforts which contributed significantly to the growth and success of the department.

In Accreditation (Professional and NUC)

He said, one of the major accomplishments has been securing accreditation from both the National Universities Commission (NUC) and relevant professional bodies. This achievement underscores the staff commitment to maintaining high academic standards and delivering quality education . "The accreditation process was rigorous, and I appreciate everyone's cooperation and hard work in ensuring we met all the necessary requirements." He added.

I hereby hand over the responsibilities of the Head of Department to Dr. Henry Ojong Ayambem. Enclosed with this report are the following documents:

As I step down from my role as the Head of Department, I do so with immense pride in what we have accomplished together. I am confident that under Dr. Henry Ojong Ayambem's leadership, the Department of Estate Management will continue to thrive and achieve even greater heights. I wish him all the best in his new role.

In addition, Dr. Rose Okoro also appreciated the efforts of the staff throughout the period under review especially during the ju8co concluded accreditation, she however, acknowledged God's intervention throughout the process.

On the other hand, the incoming HOD, Dr. Henry Ojong Ayambem thereby acknowledge the receipt of the aforementioned documents and accept the responsibilities of the Head of Department. According to him "I am committed to building on the foundation laid by my predecessor and striving for the continued excellence and success of our department." Dr. Ayambem accepted the responsibility while the merriment continued.
