The University of Lagos (UNILAG), through its Research Management Office (RMO), in collaboration with The Conversation Africa, will host a Science Communication Workshop on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. The event is scheduled to commence at 9:00 a.m. at the Senate Chambers, 2nd Floor, Senate House, UNILAG.

The workshop aims to provide hands-on training to academic staff, post-doctoral researchers, and PhD students on effectively communicating research findings beyond academic circles. Participants will learn strategies to translate complex research into accessible content that can garner global visibility and influence policymakers.
Dr. Adeola Agbaje, Director of the Research Management Office at UNILAG, highlighted the significance of enhancing research dissemination skills. "This workshop underscores our commitment to bridging the gap between research and public engagement," she remarked. "By equipping our researchers with effective communication tools, we aim to amplify the impact of UNILAG's research on societal development."
