The University of Lagos has announced an extension of the abstract submission deadline for its 18th Annual Research Conference, allowing more time for prospective participants to submit their entries.
The conference, which will hold from Wednesday, October 15 to Friday, October 17, 2025, will maintain its original dates, but now features updated pre-conference deadlines as follows:
- Abstract Submission Deadline: Friday, August 22, 2025
- Notification of Acceptance: Friday, September 5, 2025
- Paper Submission & Registration Deadline: Friday, September 26, 2025
With the theme “The Future of Work, Education and Wellbeing in the AI Age,” the event will feature a keynote address by Prof. Ibrahim Adeyamju, Managing Director/CEO of Galaxy Backbone Limited, and plenary speeches by Prof. Clement Nyirenda of the University of the Western Cape (UWC), among others.
The conference will also recognise excellence in academic research with awards for:
- Best Researchers
- Highest Published and Cited Staff
- Best Postgraduate Presentation
- Most Innovative Research Product
