The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is hosting Dr. Mathew Swerdloff, a Fulbright Specialist from the State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz, USA, for a one-month academic engagement aimed at enhancing teaching excellence and pedagogical innovation.

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is hosting Dr. Mathew Swerdloff, a Fulbright Specialist from the State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz, USA, for a one-month academic engagement aimed at enhancing teaching excellence and pedagogical innovation.

From Monday, 27th October to Thursday, 6th November 2025, Dr. Swerdloff will lead a series of interactive workshops for selected academic staff across all faculties. The sessions will cover four key areas: pedagogical strategies for effective teaching, fostering student engagement, curriculum development strategies, and integration of instructional technology using digital tools to enhance collaboration and learning outcomes.
