In the first phase, participants wrote a memorial, which is a document containing written arguments about statements of facts, while the second phase entailed oral presentations of the written arguments in the same fashion obtainable in an actual court room.
8 schools scaled through to the oral phase, which was hosted by the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos (UNILAG) sponsored by Meta, between Tuesday 1st and Thursday 3rd November, 2022 along with a mini conference with the theme, “Future of Data Protection in Nigeria.”
