UNILAG NESA Executives Extend Support to Financially Strained Students through Relief Award Program

In a proactive move to alleviate the financial burdens faced by its members, the National Economics Students Association (NESA) at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Branch has launched a relief award program aimed at assisting indigent students within the association.

Dr. Ayodele Shittu, one of NESA's staff advisers, disclosed that the beneficiaries for the upcoming 2023/2024 academic session were selected through a transparent process involving collaboration with course advisers across different academic levels.

During a ceremony presided over by the Head of the Department of Economics, Prof. Oludare Akinleye, the NESA executives presented relief awards totaling thirty thousand naira (N30,000) each to the deserving recipients. The awards were conferred upon the following students:
