The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) Students' Union has launched dedicated emergency and complaint hotlines for the 2024/2025 academic session. These hotlines are designed to ensure swift response and assistance for students facing emergencies or requiring intervention and is a proactive move to enhance student support and welfare.
The emergency contact numbers include the SU Direct Line (07014547964), Executive President (09048673679), Welfare Secretary for the Permanent Site (07035263876), Welfare Secretary for the College of Health Sciences (09060289588), and Public Relations Officer (08079353600).
The Students' Union urges students to use these lines responsibly, emphasizing that false alarms could hinder effective response and delay assistance for genuine emergencies.
Victor Oghenetega Agezeh, Executive President of the Students' Union, said, "Our commitment is to prioritize student welfare and ensure that every Unilorite feels supported." Public Relations Officer Kamaldeen Olanrewaju added, "This initiative aligns with our mission of providing a secure, responsive environment for all students."
