University of Abuja Centre for Petroleum and Energy Resource Economics Releases Postgraduate Admission Form for 2024/2025 Academic Session

The University of Abuja Centre for Petroleum and Energy Resource Economics has announced the commencement of its postgraduate admission process for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The centre invites applications from qualified candidates for admission into its Doctorate, Master's, and Postgraduate Diploma programs in Energy Economics.

The programs are designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in the energy sector. The centre offers a range of courses, including Energy Policy and Innovation, Energy Finance, Energy and Environment, International Oil and Gas Management, Renewable Energy, and Electricity Economics.

 

To be eligible for admission, applicants must have five O'Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics. Doctorate candidates must hold a Master's degree in Petroleum and Energy Economics or equivalent, while Master's degree applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree with at least a Second Class Lower Division or equivalent.

The duration of the programs varies, with the Doctorate program taking a minimum of 36 months for full-time students and 42 months for part-time students. The Master's program takes a minimum of 3 semesters for full-time students and 6 semesters for part-time students, while the Postgraduate Diploma program takes a minimum of 2 semesters for full-time students and 4 semesters for part-time students.
