University of Abuja Releases Admission Requirements and Guidelines For 2024/2025 Session
The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has announced its admission requirements and guidelines for the upcoming academic session. Prospective students are advised to take note of the following:

- Age requirement: Applicants must be at least 16 years old to be eligible for admission.
- SSCE/GCE requirements: A minimum of five credit passes in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) including English Language and Mathematics is mandatory. These credit passes must be obtained at not more than two sittings, with at least three credits in subjects relevant to the degree course applied for.
- UTME requirements: Applicants must have made UNIABUJA their first choice of institution, chosen the correct UTME subject combination for their course, and scored at least 180 in the UTME examination.

- Post-UTME screening: Applicants must register for the Post-UTME screening organised by the University.
- Direct Entry (DE) requirements: Applicants must have obtained at least two ‘A’ Level passes or equivalent, and a minimum of five credit passes in other subjects, including English language and Mathematics at the ordinary level (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, and Grade II).
- Additional requirements: Some programmes may have additional requirements, and applicants are advised to check the University’s website for specific details.
