University of Ilorin PhD Candidate Successfully Defends Thesis
Rahman Olanrewaju Saheed, a PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology at the University of Ilorin, has successfully defended his thesis titled "Intimate Partner Violence and Social Wellbeing among Women of Reproductive Age in Kwara State, Nigeria".
The defense was held at the Virtual Room, Postgraduate School, and was supervised by Prof. Ali Abdullahi and Prof. Jimoh Olaiya Amzat from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.
Mr. Saheed's research explores the critical issue of intimate partner violence and its impact on the social wellbeing of women of reproductive age in Kwara State, Nigeria. The study aims to contribute to the understanding of this significant social problem and inform policies and interventions to support affected women.
