The University of Jos has released a notice to guide students on resolving discrepancies in their fee payments. According to a statement from the Vice-Chancellor’s office, students who have initiated payment and noticed higher figures displayed on their portal are instructed to visit the finance officer of their respective faculty. This step is necessary to clear the incorrect transaction and allow the system to refresh with the correct fee amount.
Students who have not yet logged into their portal to start the payment process are not affected by the issue and should proceed with the payment once the correct fees are reflected on their portal.
The fee structure for returning students is as follows:
1. N135,000.00 for students with lab/studio and GST.
2. N130,000.00 for students with lab/studio but without GST.
3. N110,000.00 for students without lab but with GST.
4. N105,000.00 for students without lab and GST.
The notice was signed by the Dean of the Directorate of Student Affairs, Christopher Piwuna.
