University Of Maiduguri Announces Physical Manpower Audit

In a recent communication from the Office of the Registrar at the University of Maiduguri, all members of staff have been informed about the upcoming Physical Manpower Audit.

The initiative, in compliance with directives from the National Universities Commission and the Budget Office, aims to ensure the accuracy and authenticity of the University's nominal roll.

The Audit Committee, established by the University Management, will conduct the exercise from January 22 to February 20, 2024. All staff members are required to appear in person during this period, armed with essential documents including their Appointment Letter, Assumption of Duty Form, Letter of Confirmation of Appointment, IPPIS Registration Slip, and Letter of Last Promotion.

The exercise will be organized on a faculty/unit basis, and the Committee will duly notify each faculty/unit of the designated date and time. To facilitate the process, staff members are advised to download and fill in the Audit Form from the University's website for presentation during the exercise.

The Registrar, Ahmad A. Lawan, emphasized the mandatory nature of this audit, stating that failure to participate may result in being considered as a ghost worker. The University urges all staff to cooperate to ensure the success and accuracy of this vital audit.
