University of Maiduguri Reminds Staff to Switch Off Electrical Appliances After Office Hours

The University of Maiduguri has issued a reminder to all members of staff to ensure that electrical lights and appliances are switched off after office hours.

 

The reminder comes after instances of electrical appliances being left on overnight, which has led to fire incidents caused by power surges. The university management has directed the Chief Security Officer to monitor compliance with this directive.

Staff are urged to take responsibility for switching off their electrical appliances when leaving the office to prevent damage to university properties and ensure a safe working environment.
