University of Maiduguri Student Expresses Gratitude to Governor Zulum for Scholarship Intervention

A 300-level female student of the University of Maiduguri has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, for his scholarship intervention. The student, who received a non-refundable scholarship stipend of ₦28,800, was overwhelmed with joy and appreciation.

 

In a conversation with Paul Jibir, the student shared her experience, stating that her mother was worried about the hostel reservation and payment, but upon learning about the scholarship, she expressed her gratitude to God and prayed for the stipend to be received.

The student's words of appreciation to Governor Zulum were filled with emotion, "I am short of words, and tears of joy filled my eyes when I saw the stipend. I am grateful to His Excellency for this intervention, and I wish to meet him in person to express my gratitude, as this means a lot to me."
