In a spirited move to commemorate Nigeria's 63rd Independence Day, the Student Union Government (SUG) of the University of Maiduguri has announced a two-day celebration that promises to be a spectacle of entertainment, cultural richness, and thoughtful discussions.

1st October Face Painting: Tomorrow, Sunday, 1st October 2023, students will come together to enjoy a variety of activities at the Presidential Villa's surroundings. The event will kick off at 2:00 pm and feature Music, Comedy, Dance performances, and a range of innovative entertainments that will keep everyone engaged.

2nd October Program - "Nigeria at 63 Changing the Narrative on Campus": On Monday, 2nd October, Elkanemi Hall will be the venue for an intellectually stimulating program starting at 10:00 am. Highlights include Panel Discussions, a Public Lecture, Trivia sessions, Cultural Displays, and much more.
