UNIMED has appointed a new registrar, whose office will take effect from January 2025.

University of Medical Sciences, Ondo City, Appoints New Registrar

The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED) in Ondo City, Ondo State, has announced the appointment of Mr. Ezekiel Imoleayo Adeniran as its new Registrar. 

The decision was made during the 23rd Meeting of the Governing Council held on Thursday, August 22, 2024.

Mr. Adeniran brings a wealth of experience to the position, having served in various administrative roles across Federal, State, and Private Universities. With over 16 years of experience in university administration, he is well-versed in managing institutions with diverse funding sources.

Mr. Adeniran holds an impressive academic background. He earned a Master's Degree in Health Law & Policy from the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo City, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with specializations in Human Resource Management and General Management from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. Additionally, he obtained a B.Sc. (Honours) in Political Science from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko.

His professional affiliations include being a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria (IPMA) and a member of the Association of Nigeria Universities Professional Administrators (ANUPA).

As the newly appointed Registrar, Mr. Adeniran aims to elevate UNIMED to new heights. His comprehensive understanding of university administration, spanning various divisions within the registry and the entire university system, positions him well to meet the demands of the twenty-first century.

Mr. Adeniran is set to assume his duties in January 2025, succeeding the current Registrar, Dr. Woleola Ekundayo.
