Unveiling 2022/2023 Best Graduating Student from Industrial Chemistry Department:Agboeze Henry Okechukwu

The spotlight today shines on Mr. Agboeze Henry Okechukwu, the Best Graduating Student (BGS) from the Department of Industrial Chemistry for the 2022/2023 academic session.

Hailing from Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State, Mr. Agboeze achieved an impressive Final Cumulative Grade Point Average (FCGPA) of 4.460, securing a 2nd Class Honours (Upper Division) degree. Currently, he is fulfilling his mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program in Delta State, South-South Nigeria.

In his remarks, Mr. Agboeze emphasized the significant impact his time at ESUT had on his personal and academic growth. He described his university years as formative, providing him with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate future challenges. “My years at ESUT were incredible; I've grown academically, socially, and personally. I've learned to balance responsibilities, take calculated risks, and pursue opportunities. I'm excited for the years ahead and beyond,” he stated.

Recognizing the support that contributed to his success, Agboeze dedicated his achievement to his family and the esteemed lecturers in his department. “Coming out as the best graduating student in the Industrial Chemistry department is a great feat for me. This accomplishment wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my beloved family and the outstanding lecturers in my department. This success is for them,” he expressed.
