UofA Staff/ Students Graduates from AOTS Training on Web Engineering and Machine Learning
Ten members of the UofA community, including students, recently graduated from a 10-month training on Web Engineering and Machine Learning organised by the Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTS), in collaboration with the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Entrepreneurship Skills and Technology Centre (ACCI-BEST).
The Japanese government-supported training programme conducted by DIVIC Corporation between 10th October, 2023 and 30th August 2024, had participants from both the academic, students of the UofA and one other university in Nigeria.

At the graduation ceremony held virtually to celebrate the graduands, the acting vice chancellor of the University of Abuja, Prof. Aisha Sani Maikudi, represented by Dr Abel U. Osagie, director of the UofA Innovation Hub and Creative Technologies, urged the participants to leverage the skills gained through the training to create innovative solutions to new challenges, while exploring more of such opportunities for their continuous growth.
