Kaduna State University (KASU) marked its 20th anniversary with a grand celebration, bringing together stakeholders from academic, political, and business communities.
The event, held on December 14, 2024, at the Umar Yaradua Hall, Murtala Muhammad Square, Kaduna, celebrated two decades of academic excellence, innovation, and impactful contributions to the region's development.
The Registrar, Barr. Samira Balarabe, welcomed guests and emphasized the significance of the anniversary in celebrating KASU's achievements and recognizing the collective efforts of its stakeholders.
The founding father of the university and former Governor of Kaduna State, Sen. Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, delivered the keynote address, reflecting on KASU's inception and the need for state universities to adapt to the changing educational landscape.
KASU's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa, highlighted the institution's remarkable journey, emphasizing its commitment to academic excellence and efforts to produce graduates capable of tackling global challenges.
