Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto Announces Amnesty Programme for Overstayed Students

The Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto has introduced an amnesty programme for students who have exceeded their allowed period of studentship. The university's Senate has approved the programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The programme is open to students who have exhausted their period of studentship and are seeking to register for the upcoming session or have outstanding results to be processed. Students who are eligible for the amnesty programme include those from the 2014/2015 to 2024/2025 academic sessions.

However, students who have been expelled from the university are not eligible for the programme. The university's decision to offer an amnesty programme is aimed at providing an opportunity for students to complete their studies and achieve their academic goals.
