Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto Nursing and Radiography Associations Host 5th Annual Sendforth Ceremony

The Sokoto University Nursing Students' Association (SUNSA) and Sokoto State Radiography Students Association (SOSRADSA) at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) are set to hold their 5th Annual Sendforth Ceremony for graduating students. The event will take place on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic Auditorium, starting at 9:00 am.

The ceremony will bring together notable guests, including HRH Alhaji Sambo Wali Junaidu, the Wazirin Sokoto, as the Royal Father of the Day. Key speakers at the event include Prof. Anas Ahmad Sabir, Chief Medical Director of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH), and Dr. Abdurrahman Muhammad Sani, Dean of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences.

Special guests such as Dr. SD Muhammad, Head of the Radiography Department, and Alhaji Aminu Umar Dodo, the Sokoto State Commissioner for Higher Education, will also attend. The Chairman of the occasion, Dr. Abubakar Muhammad Bello Shehu, will preside over the event.

This sendforth ceremony serves as a formal farewell and celebration of achievements for the graduating students, marking their transition into the professional fields of nursing and radiography.
