Usmanu Danfodiyo University Students Attend 30th Annual BOSON Conference

 A delegation of students from the Plant Science Department, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), attended the 30th annual Conference of the Botanical Society of Nigeria (BOSON) at Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero, on June 2, 2024.

The conference, themed "Plants for a sustainable and healthier health," provided a platform for students to engage with peers, researchers, and experts, sharing knowledge and experiences that will enhance their academic and professional pursuits.

Mukaila Lateefat, a final-year student and treasurer of the Botanical Student Association of Nigeria (BOSAN), UDUS chapter, described the conference as a rewarding experience, stating, "I learned a lot and it was really fun."

The vice chairman of BOSAN UDUS, Muhammad Hulerat Sabo, highlighted the conference's impact on her academic and professional path, stating, "The exposure has opened potential avenues for collaboration and knowledge exchange, which will be essential for advancing my research and professional growth."
