In a bid to maintain peace and order on campus, Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) management has announced a temporary suspension of all in-person lectures, shifting to virtual learning for the next week, starting August 1, 2024. This decision follows a series of meetings involving the Academic Board, Principal Officers, and the Security Committee.

Key resolutions include:

  1. All lectures for full-time and part-time students will be conducted online.
  2. The online screening exercise for HND 1 Part-Time students will proceed as scheduled.
  3. Lecturers are expected to support students' needs through online platforms.
  4. Students are urged to remain peaceful, vigilant, and avoid activities that could compromise campus security.

The acting Registrar, Dr. E. J. A. Akinwale, signed off on the notice, expressing appreciation for the cooperation and understanding of the college community during this period.
