Yusuf Maitama Sule University Launches Summer Skills Acquisition Training Program

 Yusuf Maitama Sule University, in collaboration with the Students Entrepreneurial Club (SEC) and the National Association of Kano State Students (NAKSS), has launched a summer skills acquisition training program.

The initiative aims to equip students with essential skills to enhance their entrepreneurial capabilities and make the university one of the leading institutions in Northern Nigeria.

The program was officially launched by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa, alongside NAKSS President, Amb. Umar Muhammad Musa, and SEC President, Amb. Abubakar Salisu Yahaya. The training will take place at the Center for Entrepreneurship Development, Faculty of Science building, on the university's new campus.

The program is organized by the Center for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), under the leadership of Dr. Latifat Muhibudeen, and is designed to foster leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship among students.

According to Amb. Abubakar Salisu Yahaya, President of the Students Entrepreneurial Club, "This initiative is a significant step towards empowering our students with the necessary skills to succeed in today's competitive business environment. We are committed to continuing this program and making it a benchmark for entrepreneurial development in Northern Nigeria."
