Fourteen students from the University of Ibadan have been awarded the highly coveted MTN Science and Technology Scholarship. The awards were presented during an award ceremony and alumni induction held in Lagos, with the University Registrar, Mr. Ganiyu O. Saliu, fspsp, in attendance.

The MTN Science and Technology Scholarship, a prestigious initiative by the MTN Foundation, supports students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Recipients are selected from public universities, colleges of education, and polytechnics across Nigeria, making it a competitive and valuable recognition for academic excellence.

Since its inception, the MTN Foundation has awarded scholarships worth over ₦38 billion to nearly 5,000 students nationwide. The recognition further solidifies the University of Ibadan's reputation as a leading institution in STEM education.
