Seventeen professional secretaries from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) have been conferred with the prestigious title of Fellows by the Chartered Institute of Professional Secretarial Staff of Nigeria (CIPSSON). The secretaries earned this distinction at CIPSSON’s annual conference in Benin City, Edo State, marking a significant milestone in their careers and elevating their professional standing within the university's administrative structure.

The newly decorated Fellows were officially presented to FUTA’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Adenike Oladiji, during a formal ceremony. The delegation was led by Mrs. Bunmi Ajayi, President of FUTA’s CIPSSON chapter, who praised the accomplishments of the honorees and emphasized how their new status equips them to enhance administrative efficiency at the institution.
