LASUSTECH Holds 3rd Matriculation Ceremony for 2024/2025 Academic Session
The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) held its 3rd Matriculation Ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic session on February 28, 2025, at the Ikorodu Campus.

The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) held its 3rd Matriculation Ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic session on Friday, 28th February 2025. The event took place at the College of Agriculture Main Auditorium, Ikorodu Campus, with the Vice Chancellor, Professor Olumuyiwa Odusanya, presiding over the ceremony.
A total of 3,257 newly admitted students were formally welcomed into the university. In his matriculation address, titled "Full Engagement," Professor Odusanya congratulated the fresh students and encouraged them to seize the opportunities available to them. He emphasized the significance of adhering to university policies and regulations while also prioritizing their well-being as they embark on their academic journeys.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of students for the matriculation oath, administered by the Deans of each college. This symbolic exercise marked the official induction of the students into the university community, reinforcing their commitment to academic excellence and ethical conduct.
The ceremony concluded with words of encouragement from the university management, urging the students to make the best use of their time at LASUSTECH and contribute positively to their fields of study.
