Trinity University, Sabo, Yaba, Lagos, is set to host its inaugural convocation ceremony on Friday, February 23. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Clement Kolawole, announced that the ceremony will combine graduating students from the 2021/22 and 2022/23 academic sessions.

A total of 72 students will graduate across two faculties and eight disciplines during the ceremony themed "Convoking a Galaxy of Trinity Stars." Notably, 20 of these students will receive first-class honors.

Ahead of the convocation, the university will hold a convocation lecture titled "Disruptive Technology: The Ambiguous Friend?" on Thursday, February 22. The lecture, to be delivered by Prof. Adenike Osofisan, will explore the impact of information technology in our current age.

The convocation will also feature the investiture of Prince Samuel Adedoyin as the university's Chancellor. Additionally, honorary doctorates will be conferred upon Mrs. Florence Ajimobi and Dr. John Obaro.
