Toni Harris, the trailblazing 24-year-old woman who made history as the first-ever female recipient of a fully funded football scholarship in the United States, has achieved another milestone by graduating with four degrees.

Overcoming gender-based struggles and battling ovarian cancer at the age of 18, Harris shattered stereotypes by accepting a football scholarship as a position player, not just as a kicker. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she pursued her passion for football since the age of 4 and joined her high school's football team despite initial reservations from teammates.

Undeterred by skeptics who doubted her transition from high school to college football, Harris played free safety with the community college team at East Los Angeles College. Later, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Political Science from Central Methodist University, Missouri, where she enjoyed a four-year football scholarship.

Continuing her academic journey, Harris is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, with an anticipated completion date in December 2022. Her ambition is to become a homicide detective with expertise in forensics.
