Renowned American basketball star Stephen Curry has successfully achieved one of his life goals by returning to university and earning his Bachelor's degree after a 13-year hiatus. Curry, who is now 34 years old, left college to pursue a career in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

In 2009, Curry entered the NBA, which led him to put his college education on hold. He was supposed to graduate in 2010 from the North Carolina liberal arts college. However, he never lost sight of his commitment to earning his degree.

Thirteen years later, Curry fulfilled his dream by completing his degree. He expressed his joy and appreciation for the support he received from his family and community by sharing a series of photos on social media.

"Class of 2010.... aka 2022 but we got it done! Thanks to my whole village that helped me get across the finish line. Made the promise when I left and had to see it through," Curry wrote on Instagram.

His wife, Ayesha Curry, congratulated him and expressed her pride in his achievement. "Proud would be an understatement! Congratulations my love. 'YOU DID IT!'" she wrote.

Curry earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Davidson College, North Carolina, United States. The college also released an official statement congratulating Curry for his achievement. He re-enrolled at Davidson College for the spring semester, working with two Davidson faculty members, a professor from Stanford University, and another from UC Santa Cruz, who previously taught Curry when they were all at Davidson.

Davidson College recognized Curry's strong commitment to education and noted that although he will not attend the commencement, they look forward to presenting his diploma in the future on campus.
