The Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC) has announced the selection of four Nigerian professors to assume leadership positions at the University of Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (USET) in The Gambia.

NTAC’s Director-General, Yusuf Yakub, made this known during a meeting on Saturday in Abuja when the Minister of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology of The Gambia, Gomez Pierre, paid him a courtesy visit.

Yakub highlighted the contributions of the four Technical Aid Corps (TAC) volunteers, which led to the establishment of a task force by USET’s Governing Council. The task force was created to review the ongoing service of TAC volunteers and make recommendations for filling key vacancies at USET.

This development further strengthens the educational collaboration between Nigeria and The Gambia and underscores the technical and academic expertise Nigeria continues to export across Africa.
