57 Students of Uniabuja to receive N250,000 per session from FG scholarship Scheme, 45 undergraduate students; four Master's degree, and eight doctoral students benefited from the FG's scholarship to study in Nigerian public tertiary institutions.
No fewer than 57 students of the University of Abuja have been awarded a Federal government scholarship to study in Nigerian public tertiary institutions.

While 45 were undergraduate students; there were four Master's degree and eight doctoral students.
The scholarship which is tenable only in Nigeria was scheduled to take effect at the beginning of the 2022 Academic Session.
The beneficiaries of the scholarship who cut across all the faculties of the University, including Arts, Agriculture, Engineering, Science, Education, Law, and College of Health Sciences, will receive the sum of N250,000 per session.
Dean of Students' Affairs, Dr Abubakar Umar Kari, said the University was pleased that "this time around, there were 57 students of our great University who were awarded the scholarship; 45 of them undergraduate, four Master's, and eight doctoral students."

Kari called on the students to make the best of the award, saying it was a great opportunity for them to have been considered by the government.
