8 UNN Students Receive Nemel Pharmaceuticals/Beta Sigma Scholarship Award

Eight students from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), Enugu State, Nigeria, have been awarded scholarships worth 84,000 naira each by Nemel Pharmaceuticals and Beta Sigma Fraternity (BSF).

The scholarships were presented at the Presidential Lodge, UNN, by BSF members and Student Union Government (SUG) leaders on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

Pharm Nnaemeka B. Ugwu, CEO of Nemel Pharmaceuticals, had promised these awards during the Excellence Lecture Series/Free Medical Check-up organized by BSF in conjunction with the SUG on June 28, 2024.

The presentation on Wednesday fulfilled this promise, with each recipient receiving a transfer of 84,000 naira.

The scholarship recipients are:

- Oscar U. Nwachukwu, Department of Combined Biological Sciences

- Marvelous K. Emmanuel, a 100L student of Medicine and Surgery

- Martin F. Igboeli, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences
