The Administrators of the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation are pleased to announce the commencement of its 2023/2024 scholarship programme for Muslim students in Nigerian Federal Universities.

Interested and duly qualified students are enjoined to carefully go through this document and pay attention to the qualifying criteria for the different categories of scholarship as follows:

  • • Undergraduate and Postgraduate scholarship for students of Ede origin.

CRITERIA FOR THE AWARD

  1. Must be a bona fide student in any of the under listed universities:
    • University of Ibadan (UI)
    • Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (OAU)
    • University of Lagos, Akoka (UNILAG)
    • Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB)
    • Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA)
    • Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE)
    • University of Ilorin (UNILORIN)
    • Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA)
    • Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS)
    • Federal University Dutsin-Ma, Katsina (FUDMA)
    • University of Abuja (UofA)
    • University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT)
  2. Must maintain a minimum of 3.5/5.0 CGPA(2nd Class Upper Division)
  3. Must be of good character
2. Undergraduate Scholarship for Orphans and Vulnerable students
  1. Must be a bona fide student of the University of Maiduguri
  2. Must maintain a minimum of 2.5/5.0 CGPA(2nd Class Lower Division)
  3. Must be of good character

3. Undergraduate and Postgraduate scholarship for students of Ede origin
  1. Must be a bona fide student of a Federal University in Nigeria
  2. Must maintain a minimum of 2.5/5.0 CGPA(2nd Class Lower Division)
  3. Must be of good character
  4. Must have graduated with a minimum of 3.5/5.0 CGPA (2nd Class Upper Division) from a Federal University in Nigeria*
  5. *For Postgraduate students only
