ABU to Initiate Name Upload to JAMB Portal – A Step Closer to Admission

A buzz of excitement has enveloped the atmosphere as Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) concludes its school examinations, with the exception of MB1 (200l MBBS).

The anticipation is now focused on ABU's admission authorities, including the crucial step of uploading names to the JAMB portal.

Many prospective students have already linked their JAMB portals with their emails, as indicated by a recent poll. However, for those who have inquiries or face certain challenges, here are some insights to help guide you:

1. How to Start the Process:

It is recommended to personally visit any JAMB-accredited center nearby. You should bring your preferred email address (not previously used to register UTME) and a token of ₦500. This method has proven effective compared to sending your email to 55016 twice with a space in between.

2. Dealing with a Wrong Email:

If an incorrect email was used during the registration process, there is still hope for a solution.

Start by noting the incorrect email from your registration slip.

Visit the mail website, whether Gmail or Yahoo Mail, and attempt to create a new account with the same username, using the same spelling. This might resolve the issue.

As ABU progresses towards the admission process, it's important for candidates to stay vigilant and closely monitor their JAMB/CAPS portal starting from the next week.

Congratulations to everyone in this group, and best of luck on your admission journey!
