ABU, Zaria Announces Date for 43rd Convocation Ceremony

Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, is gearing up to host its prestigious 43rd Convocation Ceremony, an event that marks a significant milestone in the academic journey of its graduating students.

Pre-Convocation Lecture

Kicking off the event is an insightful pre-convocation lecture scheduled for Friday, January 26, 2024. The lecture, titled "This is Your Time: Set Forth in Confidence and with Haste," will be delivered by His Excellency, Donald Duke, CON, the Former Governor of Cross River State. Dr. Suleyman Ndanusa, OON, the Former Chairman/Director-General of the Securities & Exchange Commission, will preside as the Chairman of the event. The session commences at 11:00 am sharp at the Mamman Kontagora Square, Ahmadu Bello University's Main Campus in Samaru, Zaria. Guests are kindly requested to be seated by 10:00 am.

Continuing the celebration on Saturday, January 27, 2024, the university will confer degrees upon its graduates. The ceremony will cover the conferral of first degrees, postgraduate diplomas, higher degrees, and honorary degrees. The proceedings are set to commence at 9:00 am at the Mamman Kontagora Square, with guests requested to be seated by 8:00 am to ensure a prompt start.
