Afe Babalola University Multi-System Hospital (ABUAD MSH) in Ado Ekiti has voiced concerns regarding the escalating costs of medical equipment and drugs in Nigeria, posing challenges for healthcare facilities and citizens alike.

Dr. Kolawole Ogundipe, the Chief Medical Director of ABUAD MSH, addressed the press during the hospital's sixth anniversary, highlighting the pressing need for the Federal Government to grant tax exemptions on imported medical equipment. He emphasized that the current duty on imported medical supplies significantly inflates their cost, rendering healthcare provision financially burdensome.
