She appreciated the CMD for “leaving but not leaving them,” acknowledging his continued commitment and contributions to the institution.
Speaking further, the Vice Chancellor stated that the purpose of the inauguration was to establish and reaffirm a collective commitment to excellence in medical education, clinical training, research and healthcare delivery. According to her, the partnership between ABUAD and FETHI represents a strategic and forward-looking collaboration capable of redefining medical training standards within Nigeria and beyond. He stressed the importance of fairness in all human dealings and appreciated individuals who worked tirelessly to restore harmony between both institutions. He also commended the Founder of ABUAD for improving the welfare package of FETHI consultants working with the university.

The CMD encouraged members of the consultative committee to work with open minds and ensure there are no communication gaps between nominated committee members and the managements of both institutions.
