Achievers University, Owo, has announced its 1st Faculty of Engineering Lecture, scheduled to bring together academics, professionals, and members of the public for a strategic discussion on technology-driven security reform in Nigeria.

The lecture, which is open to the general public, is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., and will take place at the Prof. Abubakar Adamu Rasheed Auditorium of the university.

Themed “Roles of Emerging Technology in Reengineering of Nigeria’s Security Architecture,” the lecture will be delivered by Prof. Nureni A. Adewole, who is expected to provide critical insights into how modern technological innovations can be deployed to strengthen national security systems and improve operational efficiency across security institutions.
