Adamawa State University “Golden Boy" Receives Peace Ambassador Award

Mohammed Mahmud, a dedicated student of Adamawa State University, Mubi (ADSU), has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to peacebuilding with the prestigious title of Peace Ambassador. Additionally, he was conferred a Certificate of Honor in recognition of his commendable achievements.

Popularly known as Golden Boy, Mahmud took to social media to share his elation and gratitude upon receiving these accolades. "Elements of surprise I am honoured to receive an award for (peace ambassador) in Adamawa State University, Mubi, and also Certificate of honour," he wrote, expressing his joy at the recognition of his efforts.

Reflecting on this achievement, he acknowledged, “Thanks to the Almighty for the successful tenure. I feel incredibly blessed to have had the support of my friend, Sen. Usman Sosal, and all of you. A few special friends can magically brighten our hearts and lives.”
