Admission Requirements
Prospective candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for admission into the B.Tech in Business Information Technology program:
1. Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Entry Requirements:
- O’ Level Subjects: Candidates must possess five credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings. These must include English Language and Mathematics, with at least one subject from Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, or Food and Nutrition. Additionally, candidates must have at least one subject from Geography, Economics, Government, or Accounting.
- UTME Subjects: Candidates are required to sit for English Language, Mathematics, and any two subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Food and Nutrition, Geography, Economics, Government, or Accounting.
2. Direct Entry Requirements:
- Candidates must have five (5) O’ level passes at credit level in not more than two (2) sittings. These must include English Language, Mathematics, at least one subject from Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, or Food and Nutrition, and one subject from Geography, Economics, Government, or Accounting.
- In addition to the O’ level requirements, candidates must have two A’ level papers passed at a minimum of credit level at IJMB A’ level or its equivalent. Subjects for A’ level should include Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Food and Nutrition, Geography, Economics, Government, or Accounting.
- Candidates with a National Diploma (ND) in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, or other related Business/Information Technology programs, with a minimum of Upper Credit, are also eligible for admission.
