Prof. Shuaibu Mohammed Nasir, Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has been appointed as a Global Alumni Network Ambassador for Nagasaki University, Japan. His appointment, which took effect on April 1, 2024, will run until March 31, 2030.
The appointment letter was signed by Ito Masako, Director of the Office for Global Relations at Nagasaki University. The formal ceremony for his appointment took place on October 9, 2024, at Nagasaki University.
In his acceptance speech, Prof. Nasir expressed his commitment to strengthening the existing excellent relationship between Ahmadu Bello University and Nagasaki University during his tenure as Global Ambassador.
