Ahmadu Bello University Hosts Delegation from Timișoara University, Celebrates Success of Erasmus Exchange Program

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU-Zaria) welcomed a delegation from the University of Life Sciences in Timișoara, Romania, marking a significant milestone in their ongoing partnership through the Erasmus Exchange Program.

The three-member delegation, led by Prof. Iona Michaela Balan, met with ABU-Zaria's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Bala, to discuss the program's success and future collaborations. Despite the institutions' differing sizes, with ABU-Zaria having over 50,000 students compared to Timișoara's 7,000, both universities have benefited mutually from the exchange.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Kabiru Bala expressed appreciation for the support provided to ABU-Zaria staff and students, emphasizing the program's role in fostering academic and cultural exchange.
