Ahmadu Bello University Restricts Access to MIS Office
Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria has restricted access to its Management Information System (MIS) office. The university's management has directed that students can only visit the MIS office with a verifiable and genuine reason.
Some of the valid reasons for visiting the MIS office include:
- Portal access difficulties: Students experiencing issues accessing the university's online portal can visit the MIS office for assistance.
- Add and Drop procedures: Students who need help with adding or dropping courses can visit the MIS office.
Students who deliberately present false complaints or visit the MIS office without a legitimate reason will be identified and handed over to the university security. The university has deployed security personnel to monitor activities at the MIS office, and any student found to be dishonest or attempting to bypass official procedures will be referred to the university's Disciplinary Committee.
The Ahmadu Bello University Students' Representative Council (ABUSRC) has issued a notice to all students, advising them to conduct themselves responsibly and comply strictly with the directive. The council encourages students to work together to ensure a smooth and orderly academic environment for everyone.
