Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria has restricted access to its Management Information System (MIS) office. The university's management has directed that students can only visit the MIS office with a verifiable and genuine reason.

Some of the valid reasons for visiting the MIS office include:

  • Portal access difficulties: Students experiencing issues accessing the university's online portal can visit the MIS office for assistance.
  • Add and Drop procedures: Students who need help with adding or dropping courses can visit the MIS office.

Students who deliberately present false complaints or visit the MIS office without a legitimate reason will be identified and handed over to the university security. The Ahmadu Bello University Students' Representative Council (ABUSRC) has issued a notice to all students, advising them to conduct themselves responsibly and comply strictly with the directive.
