Ahmadu Bello University Thanks Alumni for N45 Million Donation

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has expressed its gratitude to former governors Adamu Aliero and Ahmadu Adamu Mu'azu, as well as other alumni, for donating N45 million to support the renovation of dilapidated infrastructure on campus.

The donation was raised during the School of Basic Studies (SBS) Class of 1976/1977 reunion party held in Abuja.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Adamu Ahmed, commended the class members for their generosity and commitment to the university's values and vision. He noted that the donation will enhance the academic environment for current and future students and exemplify the transformative impact of dedicated alumni.

Aliero and Mu'azu each donated N20 million, with the remaining N5 million contributed by other class members. The former governors emphasized the importance of supporting educational institutions and called on others to contribute to the project.

The university looks forward to continued collaboration with the class members in advancing its mission. The donation is a testament to the enduring bond between ABU and its alumni.
