Air Force Institute Matriculates 1, 319 Students

The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), on Saturday, matriculated its 7th set of  1,319 students in Kaduna.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the matriculants comprised 1,054 degree and  265 diploma students totalling 1,319 for 2023/2024 academic session.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Kabiru Bala, the Vice Chancellor, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, who is also the Special Guest of Honour at the event, said:  “Against all odds, we are witnessing the matriculation of the seventh set of degree students of AFIT.

“I have been made to understand that there are NUC and NBTE students matriculating today. This is what translates to this impressive increase.”

The VC noted with satisfaction that the number of courses available at the undergraduate level had also increased from 11 to 28.
