The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in Kaduna has announced admission opportunities for the School of Basic Remedial Studies and Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) program for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Admission Requirements
- School of Basic Remedial Studies:
- Credit passes in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
- Specific requirements for Social and Management Sciences and Engineering and Sciences programs.
- IJMB Program:
- Five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
- A minimum of 10 points in the IJMB examination.
Program Details
- Duration: The Remedial program lasts for two semesters (one academic session), while the IJMB program is a one-year intensive program.
- Eligibility: The Remedial program is open to applicants who couldn't secure admission into AFIT due to low UTME scores or those who applied to other universities.
- Academic Groups: Students admitted into the IJMB program will be placed into one of six academic groups based on their intended course of study and O'Level credits.

- Application Period: June 27, 2025, to July 26, 2025
- Application Fee: N10,000 (non-refundable)
