Ambrose Alli University Bans Unauthorized Signing of ENT Course Forms

The management of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, has issued a firm directive to curb the unauthorized signing of course forms for entrepreneurship (ENT) courses.

In an internal memorandum dated September 27, 2024, the university's Centre for Entrepreneurial and Career Studies highlighted the issue of unapproved persons within various faculties signing course forms for ENT 201 and ENT 211 students, a practice deemed unacceptable by the administration.

According to the memo, signed by the Director of the Centre, Professor M.L. Rilwani, only designated officers from the Directorate are mandated to perform this task to ensure accurate tracking of revenue generated from the courses. The memo warned that non-compliance with this directive could result in revenue loss for the institution.

The memorandum also pointed out that the issue of students neglecting to present their course forms for the official signing was especially common in the faculties of Medicine, Law, and the Directorate of Science and Humanities. Faculty members engaged in this practice were urged to desist immediately, with the administration reiterating the need for adherence to proper procedures to avoid further complications.

This directive is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enforce regulations and ensure transparency in academic processes.
